Canterbury Village Walk for Warmth – (248-391-5700) Warm a heart, help a home. Join OLHSA for a family friendly afternoon of fun and community at the annual Walk for Warmth. Contributions to Walk for Warmth support emergency services provided by OLHSA that help keep our neighbors safe and warm. Those interested in walking can register at https://fundraise.givesmart.
Entertainment will include the Genisys Band, National Anthem by Vanessa Carr, Huda Jump Rope Team, Detroit Institute of Arts craft tent, Oakland University kids crafts, Oakland County Sheriff’s Therapy Dogs, and Miss Oakland County Teen.

second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Orion Oaks Dog Park – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements
