Ferndale Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Each hunt is FREE and will feature two separate areas for ages 1-4 and ages 5-12. The schedule is as follows – 1p at Garbuitt Park (end of Marie Street near Eight Mile and Pincecrest) for ages 1-4 only, 1:30p at Geary Park (Pinecrest St north of W Nine Mile Rd), 2p at Martin Rd Park (Lewiston Ave W of Hilton Rd). At Martin Road Park, children and parents will have the opportunity to see the Easter Bunny and enjoy hot chocolate, s’mores, and a senior bake sale goods. This is a FREE and non-registration event. Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register.
