Following the moon cycle connects us with nature in a meaningful way. Enjoy a mini hike, cozy fire and calming meditation during the full moon. No meditation experience necessary. Dress for the weather. The program is suitable for ages 7 and older. Cost is $5/person. or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
