Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Celebrate Birmingham Parade and Party at Shain Park – the Downtown Birmingham Hometown Parade event

will feature children’s activities, live entertainment and food inside Shain Park immediately following the parade. This event is a celebration of the Birmingham community and schools. Participation offers an opportunity for businesses, organizations, individuals, schools and groups to promote themselves to the community. People of all ages come to town to celebrate and enjoy the family-fun festivities. The half-mile parade route travels through the charming downtown with many shops and restaurants.
