Detroit Zoo GreenFest – The Zoo-wide experience includes demonstrations by the Detroit Zoological Society’s Green Team, conservation education, citizen science projects and exhibits by local conservation groups. Following the moon cycle connects us with nature in a meaningful way. Enjoy a mini hike, cozy fire and calming meditation during the full moon. No meditation experience necessary. Dress for the weather. The program is suitable for ages 7 and older. Cost is $5/person. They also have a great indoor bounce room & party room. On Fridays they open up their HUGE open bounce room for open jump for the low price of $9 per child (parents of children are FREE).

Kids Night at the Hawk
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register.
