Oakland County 4-H Discovery Day – at Springfield Oaks County Park. There will be several 4-H youth and
local organizations gathered together with fun, family-friendly interactive educational activities, animal exhibits, and crafts. This is a FREE event. For more info, email mazzolal@msu.edu. Hosted by the Oakland County Fair Board.
Oakland County Parks FREE Admission Day – All Oakland County Parks Division Parks (see list in description). Oakland County Parks and Recreation offers complimentary park entry to all guests. Addison Oaks Park/Day Use, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks Park, Lyon Oaks Park/Day Use, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks Park/Day Use, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park, Rose Oaks. Visitors can enjoy free daily park entry with access to natural areas, trails, dog parks and all park amenities. Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Wint Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-625-6473) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are
adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Auburn Hills Summerfest – The City of Auburn Hills has lined up a host of sights, sounds and flavors of summer for two days of fun at its annual Summerfest celebration.
The “main street” Summerfest event will take place on Saturday from 11a to 10p in the heart of downtown at Auburn and Squirrel roads. Have fun at the Auburn Hills Summer Fest kick-off from 4p-10p on Friday.
