Ortonville Movie in the Park – Brandon Twp Parks and Rec is hosting the annual Movie Night at the park at Brandon Township Community Park in Downtown Ortonville. Enjoy a free outdoor summer movie in Ortonville in the evening. The fun starts at 7p with a variety of activities.
Holly Movies in the Park at dusk at Crapo Park. Concessions will be available for purchase. The free summer outdoor movies begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn! Refreshments and concessions will be sold for a small fee.
Hippie Fest in Canterbury Village – Guests can stroll through the outdoor vendors selling themed items and unique jewelry, clothing, arts, and crafts. All shops within Canterbury Village will be open and featuring various Hippie-related finds as well. Milford Movies at Central Park – Milford Twp is hosting their FREE Milford Picnic and Movies series in Downtown Milford on select days through the summer. Movies start at dusk. Milford Community Picnics take place at Central Park and feature games, bouncers, refreshments, hot dogs, climbing wall, pony rides & petting farm, crafts, and science alive.

Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Birmingham Summer Concerts – Shain Park in Birmingham, Michigan will once again be hosting free concerts throughout the summer. The Birmingham Summer Concert Series concerts will start at 7p on select Wednesdays through the summer, with a kickoff on Friday.

Troy Free Summer Movie Nights – Our friends at Troy Recreation are bringing the HUGE inflatable movie screen to Jeanne M Stine Community Park in the heart of Troy, MI on select Wednesdays for FREE family movie night! Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and your favorite snacks to enjoy a movie on a summer evening. Movies shown at these events will be rated G or PG.
Ferndale Free Movie Nights – Downtown Ferndale MI hosts their Movies in the Parks summer movie series at Schiffer Park this summer with 3 nights of movies. Bring your lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars in Downtown Ferndale or a local Ferndale Park. Movie nights at Schiffer Park, Wilson Park, and Martin Road Park are free to the public! FREE outdoor movie nights in Ferndale this summer begin at 6:30p with pre-show family fun entertainment. Movies start at dusk.
Movies are shown on Vester Street (1 block north of 9 Mile, east of Woodward) right in the street, in front of M-Brew (177 Vester).
Holly Free Summer Concerts – Crapo Park in Downtown Holly will host FREE concerts one Thursday a month throughout the summer. These events will be held by the Holly Area Chamber of Commerce and feature local musicians.
Farmington Hills Summer Concerts – Heritage Park in Farmington Hills will be hosting free concerts on Thursdays throughout the summer at the park’s grassy amphitheatre as part of the Stars In The Park FREE summer concerts series.
All guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, and picnic meals are welcome. In the case of inclement weather, most concerts will be relocated to the Costick Center at 28600 W 11 Mile Rd.
