Meadow Brook Garden Club – (248-364-6200, meadowbrookhall.org). The Meadow Brook Garden Club also offers special programs that feature a guest speaker. These take place monthly at Meadow Brook Hall. Coffee and refreshments are served at 9:15a, and the program starts at 10a. $5 suggested donation. All ages event. Reservations are not required.   MORE INFO.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center  (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-858-0100. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours

Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours at Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens (248-364-6200,

meadowbrookhall.org). Enjoy stationed touring and light refreshments and a cash bar in a spectacular setting. Bring a date or friends to sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the Great Estate in this beautiful evening experience. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date.
