Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. Ladies Night Out Milford – Ladies are invited to visit downtown stores and restaurants to check out what’s new and pick up giveaways, discounts, store wide sales, freebies, and complimentary snacks and beverages. Hosted by meetmeinmilford.com. Milford hosts these Ladies Night Events twice a year. Once in the Spring, and once in the Fall.
Kids Night at the Hawk
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register. National Mini-Golf Day at Cranbrook on the Green Mini Golf Course – Mother’s Day Event. Every year the
second Saturday in May is National Miniature Golf Day, and this year it falls on the same weekend as Mother’s Day. In honor of both holidays, Cranbrook is offering free admission to one special adult in your life on Saturday, May 11 and on Sunday May 12. To receive the complimentary ticket, please purchase all tickets for your group on-site. The last tickets will be sold 45 minutes before closing. Admission to the Art Museum is free with mini-golf admission. Enjoy making in the Art Lab, visit the Graduate Degree Exhibition or enjoy a snack and a latte at our FIKA Café. Hosted by cranbrook.edu. Kensington Park Mothers Day Walk – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com) 10a-11a or 1p-2p. Take an hour-long guided walk and discover the budding spring wildflowers, chattering birds, and rich habitats. All ages. $3 per child / $5 per adult. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Permits are on sale NOW.
