Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Farmington Hills Halloween Faith & Blue Trunk or Treat – Enjoy Trunk or Treating, costume contests, crafts, balloon creations, photo booth, and more. Hosted by Faith & Blue and the Farmington Hills Police Department. This is a FREE event. Attendees are asked to donate a non-perishable item C.A.R.E.S of Farmington Hills.

Loving Earth, Loving All – Earth Day Celebration – The event will offer free native flower seedlings, local seeds, information on invasive species, what to plant, pollinators, a tour of the ‘deer resistant’ garden, activities for youth, and more. To learn more about the event email office@
Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. FREE Summer Shindig – Catalpa Oaks County Park Enjoy an evening of fun at Catalpa Oaks County Park. Activities include inflatables, a climbing wall, zip line, face painting, balloon artists and more. In addition, there will be a free concert from 7:30p-9p followed by a showing of the movie “Family Camp” at 9p. Food trucks will have hot dogs, snow cones, popcorn and more for sale from 6p-9p. No registration is needed, just come out and have fun. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
Barkin’ In The Park at Gilbert Willis P (248-624-2850). Hosted by Wixom Parks & Rec. Food, dog walking trail fun pet vendors, K9 show, talent show, and more. A pet photographer will be on hand All pets must be on a leash. This is a FREE event to attend.
Wag-O-Ween – Get your pup dressed up and ready for Halloween at the dog costume contest! Three weight category contests where winners will be chosen in each weight category. Limited to the first 40 dogs registered in each weight category. Enjoy the complimentary photo booth. Hosted by The Mall at Partridge Creek.
Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade
Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present.
