Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the City of Ferndale.
Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by the Heart of the Lakes VFW post 1008. The parade runs on Dixie Hwy beginning at Sashabaw Rd traveling North to Williams Lake Rd. Ferndale Free Movie Nights – Downtown Ferndale MI hosts their Movies in the Parks summer movie series at Schiffer Park this summer with movies at various Ferndale Parks. Bring your lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars in Downtown Ferndale or a local Ferndale Park. Movie nights are held at Schiffer Park, Wilson Park, and Martin Road Park! Outdoor movie nights in Ferndale this summer begin at 5:30p with pre-show family fun entertainment. Movies start at dusk.
