Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Northville Community Center Tiny Pumpkins – from 4p-5p OR 5p-6p (2 Sessions to Choose From). No-scare Halloween fun for kids ages 0-5. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, dancing, coloring, Halloween stations and a costume contest for the Tiny Pumpkins. Parents and Grandparents are welcome at no charge. Northville Halloween Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt (2 sessions to choose from) at Thayer’s Corner.
Trick or treating scavenger hunt. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, cider & donuts, pick a pumpkin, story time and other entertainment. Advance ticket sales are sold by specific event time. Please arrive at the event entrance a few minutes before your scheduled time to check in. No on-site registration will be available. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec. Get outside, explore and have fun with this monthly program for children 7-12 years old at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center.Learn about birds, starting fires, stalking animals or catching insects, each month will focus on connecting with the world around us, deepening naturalist knowledge and learning new outdoor skills. Troy Sports Day – Conveniently held at Troy High School, local youth sports organizations will have information and representatives to answer your questions and provide detailed information on their leagues. Canterbury Village Cupcake Crawl – The shops of the village will each feature a different homemade cupcake for you to sample as you stroll the village. Be sure to vote for your favorite at the end. $2 entry at the door (includes all cupcakes). $5 Parking is required at all events in addition to the admission fee unless otherwise noted. Riley Park Ice Rink Choco Valentine Skate – Hershey Kiss Bingo, s’mores, and skating! The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Hosted by the City of Farmington and the Farmington Community Library.
