Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the City of Ferndale.
Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Guests will enjoy a 60-minute class with puppy playtime to follow. Guests are encouraged to register in advance by calling 248-453-5255. Hosted by Leader Dogs for the Blind & Hosted by TheVofRH.
Ferndale Free Movie Nights – Downtown Ferndale MI hosts their Movies in the Parks summer movie series at Schiffer Park this summer with movies at various Ferndale Parks. Bring your lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy a memorable evening under the stars in Downtown Ferndale or a local Ferndale Park. Movie nights are held at Schiffer Park, Wilson Park, and Martin Road Park! Outdoor movie nights in Ferndale this summer begin at 5:30p with pre-show family fun entertainment. Movies start at dusk.
