Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Holly Memorial Day Ceremony – A crowd of several thousand veterans, families, friends and the general public are expected to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring deceased veterans interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. There will be patriotic music. The VFW State Honor Guard will present the colors and perform a rifle salute during the ceremony. Taps will also be played. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Holly ORV Park FREE Weekend – Michigan residents and visitors legally can ride DNR-designated routes and trails without purchasing an ORV license or trail permit. THe entrance fee for Holly Oaks ORV Park has been waived by the OCPR Parks Commission. All ORV rules and laws still apply. This includes that all vehicles entering the park must have a 10′ orange flag securely mounted and all ORV riders and drivers must also sign a waiver form before entry.
