Novi Dogs Only Swim – Doggie Dive-In at Lakeshore Park Beach. Play around with your pooch in beautiful Walled Lake or on the shore of Lakeshore Beach. Must be a current member of the Novi Dog Park to participate. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the beach during this event. Price is $5 per dog. Pre-registration required. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Canterbury Village Michigan Dog Fest – Bring your furry friend and head to Canterbury Village for a tail waggin’ good time. Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes. Troy Dogs Only Swim – TFAC Doggie Splash at Troy Family Aquatic Center (248-524-3484). 45 minute dogs only swim. Dogs must be 6 mos old with current dog license. $12 for Troy Dog Park Members, $15 for residents, $18 for non-residents. Tags must be worn the day of event. Aggressive dogs will not be allowed or will be asked to leave w/out refund. Dogs under 30 lbs from 10a-10:45a, 31-61 lbs from 11a-11:45a, 61 lbs plus from noon 12:45p. Must register by September 9.
