WCC Annual Fall Carnival – This year’s theme is “Tent or Treat”. It’s like “Trunk or Treat” with all the fun but minus the worries of the weather, it’s indoors in their on-site gymnasium. Enjoy game playing, prize winning and fun having in costume while voting for your favorite themed tent. Hosted by Waterford Community Church

Waterford Central Cinema Movie Night – the monthly showing of a family-friendly movie, followed by a brief discussion around the themes of the film. Bring a snack to share and a friend; everyone is welcome. In honor of Veteran’s Day, November’s movie is “Dog,”. This is a FREE event hosted by Central United Methodist Church.

Waterford Earth Day Clean-Up – at Various Waterford Parks. Parks and Rec will supply each park with garbage bags and cleanup equipment. Call 248-674-5441 to sign up for a park. Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by the Heart of the Lakes VFW post 1008. The parade runs on Dixie Hwy beginning at Sashabaw Rd traveling North to Williams Lake Rd. Wade & Watch Movie Night at Waterford Oaks Wavepool – Gain exclusive access to the Waterford Oaks Wave Pool for family swim, followed by a show. Gates open at 6p for swim time until dusk. Finding Dory will be screened at dusk on dry land. Bring a beach towel or blanket and a change of dry clothes for the movie. Park guests can bring in their own food, no glass containers or alcohol allowed. Charcoal grills are also available – bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid. Cost is $10/person.
