Village of Rochester Hills 20th Anniversary Celebration – Enjoy family-fun, a DJ, food trucks, special 6p 20th Anniversary Ceremony Celebration, and a beer & wine garden. ALL sales will go to Rainbow Connection. Plus at 6:30p Mega 80’s takes the stage.
Food Trucks & FREE Family Fun – The event features a variety of Food Trucks and Free entertainment for the family including stilt walkers, magicians, balloon twisters, and music in the Festival Park. Paint Creek Center for the Arts will be in Festival Park giving out complimentary take-away potted flower plants, to decorate at home, to the first 100 kids in attendance. Additionally, a variety of stores will be featuring specials & sips throughout the day while offering assistance as you look to find that perfect gift for mom. Telly’s Greenhouse will be selling hanging baskets and porch pots onsite. Food trucks include – Don Armando’s Taqueria, Little Donut Factory, General Dogs, D’Vine Cookies. This is a FREE event. Mother’s Day Brunch at the Village of Rochester Hills – Mother’s Day brunch and dinner options at the The Village’s sit-down restaurants. Bravo! Italian Kitchen will be offering a lovely brunch featuring made-to-order scramblers and hand-crafted cocktails and a dinner menu with endless pasta options. Jagged Fork has an unlimited selection of breakfast and brunch options from pancakes to French toast to omelets & skillets for a perfect way to start the day. Maybe dinner is the way to go. Enjoy the Chef’s Feature Steak and Shrimp Americana or any classic menu items at Mitchell’s Fish Market. You can’t go wrong getting Sesame Chicken or the Mongolian Beef for dinner at P.F. Chang’s. BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances. Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Donut Be Afraid of Bugs – at 11a & 6p. Educational fun and a Donut truck will be at the VoRH ALL SUMMER. Nadia aka “The Bug Lady” will give you an up-close and educational experience with a variety of bugs. Learn about why these creatures are to be respected for their role in the ecosystem, and not to be feared. You will get the chance to learn about many different exotic insects, touch a tarantula, come face to face with a praying mantis, hold the largest species of millipede in the world, and much more! FUN new themes every week and you can purchase a treat from the donut truck for you & your child while your child learns fun new facts and trivia. These are FREE events. Hosted by TheVofRH.
