RARA Milk & Cookies with Santa – Come to this special event and meet Santa! Take a picture with him as well as enjoy delicious milk and cookies. Take home holiday themed coloring pages and a holiday craft. Parents will receive a number at check in so that you can enjoy milk and cookies instead of waiting in line. Families will be emailed an exact time slot to meet Santa at. This is to try to avoid large crowds and long lines. Please remember, time slots are flexible. Rochester Regional Chamber Foundation Parade of Heroes – Approximately 20 parade entries including fire trucks, a marching band, and more will line up in the parking lot at Adams High School. Participants will then walk the parade route north on Adams Road, ending at the Veteran’s Tribute of Oakland Township. Upon reaching the site, parade organizers and supporters will host an hour and a half long Memorial Program featuring: an invocation, song, speeches from community leaders and concluding with recognition of local veterans in attendance. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Rochester Free Summer Concerts – Municipal Park in Downtown Rochester Michigan will be hosting free concerts on Thursday evenings as part of the Rochester Kiwanas Club of Rochester “Music in the Park” series. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy free summer concerts.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at the concerts. Concerts are held on the grounds of Municipal Park at the newly built Bebout Band Shell. For more information on acts, call 248-330-8966.
