Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges. Michigan Makers Market at The HAWK Community Center – The juried craft fair will feature fine art, beautiful jewelry, high-quality creative goods, hand-crafted soaps and candy from approximately 50 local artists in various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, fiber, ceramics, printmaking and wearable art. Commerce Twp Preschool Open House at Commerce Twp Community Library . Meet with preschools from Commerce, Walled Lake, Milford, and White Lake to help find the school best fit for your child. Representatives will be there to answer any questions you have about the process. This program is hosted in partnership with the Commerce Township Community, Walled Lake City, and Wixom Public Libraries. Children welcome. Light refreshments provided. The Hawk Sunday Super Bounce
The Hawk Sunday Super Bounce – 10a-11:30a (ages 2-5) or 11a-1p (ages 6-11). Once a month on special mornings and afternoons HAWK staff members will set up the inflatable bouncers in the gym to make an arena of fun.
