Activities will include chemistry demonstrations, zookeeper talks and more. Additionally, a 16-foot ground-mounted solar system called the smartflower™ will be featured blooming in the garden just east of the Carousel. Rochester Hills Earth Day Events – Arbor Day Commemorative Tree Planting
Meadow Brook Hall
The Forestry Division conducts an annual tree-planting ceremony with the Mayor presiding and often a local scouting or youth group in attendance. Different sites are selected each year for the Arbor Day tree; Borden, Spencer, and Avondale Parks, Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farms, Meadow Brook Hall, and City Hall grounds have all been chosen in the past.
