West Bloomfield Winter Solstice Celebration at Recreation Activities Center – Celebrate the most magical and darkest night of the year and the slow return of the sun. Walk the glowing trail. Activity stations will be set up throughout this experience: create a glowing craft; Oakland Astronomy Club will be guiding you through the night sky with telescopes (weather permitting); A custom glowing ice carving will be on display for a photo op; Roast a marshmallow around the fire; Learn about nature in winter.
