Fort Clarkston Summer Camps 2018 Info – Fort Clarkston offers fun (and affordable) summer day camp options for mornings AND afternoons all summer long!
Fort Clarkston is Oakland County’s newest destination for children’s entertainment! With the area’s largest 3 story interactive play structure, 4 colorful party rooms for themed birthday parties or group gatherings, and children’s interactive ride-ons or arcades, Fort Clarkston is sure to entertain the kids this summer with their weekly themed specialty summer camps.
The Fort’s own Event Coordinator, Ms Kimmy, is directing the Fort Clarkston Summer Camps Program. In addition, she brings her unique perspective to daily events, crafts, games and activities during Fort Clarkston’s normal hours.
Fort Clarkston Summer Camps 2018
Fort Clarkston summer camps run daily from 9a-4p and include an hour for lunch.
The cost of $135 includes a full week from Monday – Friday. Lunch is $5 and is available for purchase. Registration is available online at https://fortclarkston.a.pcsparty.com/store/.
SUMMER KICK OFF – June 11 – 16
Spring into summer for beach week! Bop your toes in for sunny scavenger hunts and beach themed crafts. Little lifeguards will enjoy mouthwatering summer treats all throughout the week.
WILD WILDERNESS – June 18 – June 22
Howl, Growl and Whoo! Discover how animals grow, eat and play. Pretend to be an artsy forest creature while traipsing through activities. Also, little animals will have fun preparing and gobbling up weekly woodland snacks.
PRINCESS & SUPER HERO – June 25 – June 29
Calling all super heroes and princesses! Rusty and Rosie need your help to protect the Fort from the Clarkston Villain. Join in on this POWerful adventure where each day the little ones will help solve mini mysteries and crack the codes leaving them one step closer to stopping the Clarkston Villain.
WORLD ADVENTURE – July 2 – 6 (closed July 4th)
Bonjour, hola, salut, konnichiwa, and Namaste! Each daily adventure will start in a new neighboring country and end with a few new traditions. The little tourists will experience different cultures through arts, crafts and their taste buds.
MINI BUILDERS – July 9 – 13
From wood carving to project building, inspire your little carpenters to build a world out of wood. With teamwork and creativity, mini builders will learn to measure, sand, shape, paint and handle appropriate tools. Look out Tim the Toolman Taylor, enjoy the Fort’s very own “Tool Time”!
BUGS – July 16 – 20
Creepy, crawly, slimy, wiggly and molting insects! COOL! Get your hands in some dirt and explore the world of bugs. Learn about these micro minis through fun interactive group games while munching on some ooey, gooey snacks!
UNDER THE SEA – July 23– July 27
Explore the brilliant creatures that lie within the deep blue. Dive down to examine shipwrecks, exotic fish and coral reefs. On this educational adventure, explore the mysteries and creatures of both our fresh and salt waters.
BLAST FROM THE PAST – July 30 – July 27
Buckle your seat belts and hop on the Fort time travel train. Turn back the hands of time and turn up the fun. Decades of adventure, history and inventions to explore. The little inventors will have a blast making their very own time capsules and much more!
WEIRD SCIENCE – July 30 – August 4
What better way to learn about science than through different experiments such as physical reactions. Get a little messy when you make things overflow, glow, change color and more. Each Scientist will create their own snacks to top it all off!
WHEN I GROW UP – August 6 – August 10
Police Officer, Veterinarian, Artist, Hockey Player, Fashion Designer, what do you want to be? Learn all about the different careers and even have a few guest speakers!
#fortfitness – August 13 – August 17
#fortfitness – Run! Jump! Crawl! Play! Explore how our bodies work during #fortfitness week. How do our bodies move? Why do we need physical activity to keep us heathy, fit and strong? All of these questions and more will be answered during this week’s adventures.
HEALTHY HABITS – August 20 – August 24
Healthy Habits – Apples, Bananas and Oranges, OH MY! Your child will learn all about the Food Pyramid, Healthy Habits and fun new recipes to use at home. Answer the question of; how does food give our body energy?
GAME ON – August 27 – 31
Game On – Have you ever wanted to create your own Board Game? Maybe even your own video Game? This is your chance! This week will be all about games.
