Michigan Fall Colors Motorcycle Ride Video

Michigan fall colors motorcycle ride video. Video of a motorcycle ride to see the fall foliage in Oakland County MI and western Macomb County in mid October from Lisa LaGrou of Oakland County Moms.

My husband and I love fall and we love our motorcycles. He learned to ride a few summers ago and I became so hooked on riding on the back of his that I bought my own and learned how to ride. Our bikes bleed into our other passions in life, especially our love of fall in Michigan and Michigan fall colors.

We took out our GoPro camera and decided to film a couple of stretches of the leaves changing. This particular Michigan fall colors motorcycle ride video starts from Lakeville MI heading north to Downtown Leonard MI. We continue north to General Squier road which heads east to Almont MI in Macomb County.

It was a beautiful day for ride. If you watch the whole video, you can see falling leaves actually pelting us on the ride. Our trip back down Rochester road (in a later video) takes us to Orion road to downtown Lake Orion (for a lunch a Sagebrush). There’s nothing better than the smells on these rides. A combination of cider mill donuts, crisp air, and an occasional bonfire or leaf pile burning.

If you have ever thought about learning how to ride a motorcycle, I can highly recommend the classes they offer at Macomb Community College in the spring, summer, and fall months. This class is the quickest way to getting your motorcycle operators license and takes just a weekend (albeit a long weekend) to complete. You can literally go from complete newbie to licensed rider in days. Read more about it HERE.
