The Mojave Cantina menu offers appetizers such as Mexican Pizza, Botana, 3 Quesos Al Tequila (an authentic 3 cheese fondue infused with their house tequila), nachos and more. There are soups and salads, as well as a wide variety of Mexican fare such as burritos, chimichangas, flautas, fajitas, tostadas, etc. The Mojave Cantina menu also includes several different taco variations such as crispy buffalo chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, vegetarian tacos, Baja fish tacos and more. Many items can be made vegetarian as well as gluten free. You can order items a la carte, but there’s not much of a cost savings to do so. Desserts include a hot chimi apple pie, fried ice cream, gluten free brownie and more.

Chips and salsa served with your meal at Mojave Cantina. The salsa has a pronounced fiery roasted tomato flavor that was unique and flavorful. We were not a huge fan of the chips. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants and I’ve had better. On the day we went, the chips were noticeably stale.
There were two people in our party and we went at an off time. Our service was quick and courteous, and our order was brought out fresh and hot. Overall, we enjoyed our dishes.
Mojave Cantina has a wide selection of beverages on the menu – Margaritas, beer, wine, sangria, mojitos, and specialty drinks. Mojave Cantina offers lunch specials, and a weekday happy hour that runs Monday through Friday from 11a-6p. The specials are decent offers and you can’t beat the happy hour that runs for 7 hours.
Mojave Cantina has ample seating and a festive-looking bar. We went at a really slow time. The bar look so fun, I’m going to have to go back on a Friday or Saturday evening. Call ahead seating is also available at 248-291-5653.
