Oakland County Early Childhood Development
Great Start Collaborative Oakland County provides FREE access to developmental screenings, professional support and childcare advice, health resources, FREE preschool opportunities, social and emotional support for parents. Oakland County Family Resources – Family Crisis Center
Common Ground, located on the Oakland County campus, the Resource & Crisis Center is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for crisis intervention, counseling, and assessment by licensed clinicians for individuals experiencing a crisis. The Resource & Crisis Center is available to anyone in Oakland County on a walk-in basis, regardless of insurance. Common Ground also has a 24-hour Crisis Helpline that offers free and confidential support, and the crisis helpline staff can be reached directly at 800-231-1127. Oakland County Youth Crisis Resources
Oakland County Youth Mobile Crisis Team is a community-based mobile crisis team that supports individuals ages 0-21 years of age who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The mobile team can travel to homes, schools, and other community locations in Oakland County, and provides on-the-spot crisis intervention, counseling, and continued care coordination. Provided by New Oakland Family Centers, the Oakland County Youth Mobile Crisis Team is a team of mental health professionals that help children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The Oakland County Youth Mobile Crisis Service is available 7-days a week from 2p to 10p and the team can be reached at 877-800-1650.

Oakland County Health Network for Individuals with Disabilities
Oakland Community Health Network provides help for those who have an intellectual/developmental disability, adults with a mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbance, and persons with substance use disorders. The majority of these individuals have Medicaid. OCHN exists to ensure that all of these individuals are made aware of and have accessibility to services and supports that will improve their health and quality of life, as well as ensure their engagement in full community participation.
