Paws 2 Learn In Home Dog Training of Metro Detroit review. Paws 2 Learn is a newly opened business that comes to your home to train your dog. When I first heard about this, my thoughts were that it’s quite convenient, and possibly a more effective means of training your dog because it is in its own environment with one-on-one training. Many other dog training programs take place at another location with several dogs in attendance…making it more difficult since the dogs are over stimulated and too interested in the new surroundings, and are additionally distracted by the other dogs and wanting to play with them.

Lisa LaGrou Oakland County Moms – What types of services do you offer for in-home dog training? i.e. what do you teach the dogs?
Paws 2 Learn – We provide a personal in-home training experience tailored to the clients and their dogs needs. Our goal is to “Unleash Your Best Friend” and create a better quality of life for you and your pet. Services we offer include general obedience, puppy training, off-leash obedience and behavior modification. We are certified to test in many AKC programs and are equipped to ready your dog for service and therapy work.

Paws 2 Learn – We work with all breeds, we believe that all dogs deserve a happy home and are committed to creating a harmonious atmosphere for the owner and dog together.

Paws 2 Learn – Every dog is different, which is why we do a FREE In-Home Evaluation so we can custom tailor a package that works best for the client and their dogs needs. However, in most cases we can have a dog off leash ready in about 3 weeks.
Lisa LaGrou Oakland County Moms – Can a dog be too old to be trained, and what is the best age for the most successful outcome?
Paws 2 Learn – We feel it’s best to start training as a puppy to establish good behaviors from the beginning of your lives together, but any dog, at any age can be trained as long as it is in good health.
