No driving ranges, batting cages or arcades, Pirate’s Cove only handles mini golf – but they do it beautifully.

Pirate’s Cove is no different than any other Pirate’s Cove location located throughout the country. It’s been a favorite tourist destination for kids and families for decades. The popularity of Pirate’s Cove can be attributed to the immaculate condition of the grounds and the fun factor of the course itself. Each hole has a fun, mini history lesson of famous 18th century swashbuckling pirates. The staff, perpetually decked out in pirates garb, is super-friendly and always seem like they’re having a great time. The mini golf itself is challenging but not difficult to the point of frustration – all holes are par 2s. The holes are fun and the scenery is tremendous. Pirate’s Cove is the Cedar Point of putt putt.

In the past, they used to offer free rounds of golf for holes in ones or via a contest wheel after the round of golf is over but that seems to have gone away. If you go to Pirate’s Cove, you may want to avoid peak hours during the summer months as it can get ridiculously crowded.
