The promoters and organizers for Rock ‘n’ Rides Royal Oak announced via Instagram that they WILL NOT be hosting a Rock n Rides carnival for 2023 but may be back for 2024.

Rock N Rides takes over the streets of Downtown Royal Oak Thursday, June 16, 2022 through Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Rock ‘N’ Rides is hosted and produced by the same group that hosts Ford Arts, Beats, & Eats. Portions of this event’s proceeds, like Arts, Beats & Eats, benefit local non-profits through ticket (rides, admission, and food) sales.

Admission on Thursday and Friday is FREE for everyone before 5p, and this year the event is offering a special admission rate to Royal Oak residents throughout the weekend. After 5p, admission will be $5 for Royal Oak residents and $10 for the general public.
On Saturday & Sunday admission for the general public is $5 before 5p and $10 after 5p. The event is offering Royal Oak residents FREE admission on Saturday & Sunday before 5p & $5 admission after 5p.

Featuring the Bees, Century Wheel, Circus Train, Chop Shop, Cliffhanger, Crazy Cab, Dino, Dizzy Dragon, Merry Go Round, Orient Express, Ring of Fire, Screamer, Sizzler, Super Slide, Toon Town, Treasure Island, Vertigo, Zombie Motel and more.
All day carnival bands are $20 on Thursday, June 16 and $30 Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19. Carnival bands will be sold from open to 4:30p daily.
