Snapology Summer Camps 2024 – Snapology is offering FUN full-week (half-day & full-day) summer camps throughout Metro Detroit (with a STEAM twist) for kids ages 4-14.
Snapology is a STEAM enrichment franchise that uses fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics concepts. Children use LEGO® bricks, K’Nex, and technology to explore robotics, coding, and design challenges. They will be too busy having fun to realize they are also learning valuable skills they can use in school and beyond.
Local trained instructor that includes classroom teachers, education students, and high school assistants, will guide students through Snapology’s tested curriculums, with camp sizes up to 20 led by 1-2 instructors per group.
Snapology has recently opened a Discovery Center in Rochester Hills, but will also be offering summer camps with many other partners in the area. - Pokémania – Students will build and explore the world of Pokémon as they create their own gyms, battles, and even their very own generation of Pokémon, all using LEGO® bricks
- WeDo Robotics – With a variety of camps, LEGO® WeDo Robotics programs are some of the most popular. Students build bots with various themes, then program them using a simple drag and drop coding language. Topics include: Game Bots, Creature Creator, Mega Machines, and more.
- Amusement Park Engineering – Design your own amusement park with LEGO® bricks and other materials
- Animation Studios – Create your very own movie using LEGO® bricks and stop motion animation. Movies will be uploaded to the Snapology YouTube Channel for family and friends to enjoy
- Snapology Scientists – Students will engage in concepts from astronomy, earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics using LEGO® bricks
- LEGO® Robotics with SPIKE – Test out the newest LEGO® robotics kits, SPIKE, only at the Snapology Discovery Center this summer
