The Legacy 925 Oxford held its ribbon cutting today as it announces this massive one-of-a-kind family-focused community center slated to open in 2016.The Legacy 925 in Oxford is a 208,000 square foot facility located at 925 North Lapeer Road, Oxford, MI 48372.
The Legacy 925 is in the old Sea Ray plant which was used to manufacture boats until Sea Ray relocated to Florida for more space. Now, the Legacy 925 is taking the run-down, dilapidated building and completely rebuilding it into a modern day family community hub where they invite families in to enjoy the entertainment, fitness, sports, music, arts, life skills, cafe, restaurant and much more! The Legacy Center is not just another sporting facility, it’s a community destination. Guests will be surrounded by family centered activities for all ages. Everything is all under one roof in an enclosed facility making is super convenient for everyone in the family to hit up their favorite activities.

I visited the Legacy 925 recently and saw the tenants that are open for business. e.g. There is a 20,000 square foot indoor training facility – The Den – that is suitable for soccer, baseball, lacrosse, flag football, volleyball, cheerleading, sporting camps, meets, etc. It can be rented by the hour and also has batting cages available. It is truly impressive and a sports lover’s dream come true. And, that’s just one…
