Three Cedars Cider Mill delivers “old-fashioned fun for all ages” on the beautiful, sprawling farm. There’s plenty of fun to be had for the very young and the very old.
Three Cedars is quite a sight. The entire farm is decked out for fall in festive (almost garish), country-time decor. If Cracker Barrel restaurant started a cider mill, it would look a lot like Three Cedars. I don’t mean that in a negative way, the atmosphere at Three Cedars Cider Mill is almost joyous and makes for a fun trip the second you arrive.

The entrance of the farm is densely packed with fall flowers, mums, corn stalks, straw, and… of course, pick your own pumpkins. Once you make your way toward the huge red barn and cider mill, you’ll notice pick-ups and dropoffs for the hayrides which tour the farm seemingly every 10 minutes. There’s a challenging 7 acre corn maze that kids and adults can try to navigate. Three Cedars also offers 10 private bonfire sites to rent through the season! All of these points of interest are around the farm and before you actually get to the cider mill where there is even more to do.
A short jaunt from the parking lot is the actual entrance to the Three Cedars Cider Mill area. The General Store is located in a huge, 2-story barn on the 1st level. The General Store is unlike many of the other cider mills I’ve been to. In addition to the usual cider mill cheeses and jellies, Three Cedars Cider Mill General Store is packed to the brim with country crafts, knick-knacks, baskets and other country decor. Not nearly as large… but The General Store is the fall equivalent of Bronner’s Christmas Village in Frankenmuth. It’s impressive. On the 2nd floor above the General Store is the Three Cedars banquet room. You can host parties, banquets, meetings in more in this party room. The room is quite modern and not at all what you’d expect from the outside of the building.
The Three Cedars Donut Hut sits just outside the giant barn. This is where you stock up on delicious cider and donuts. Just behind the Three Cedars Donut Hut is where the fun for kids begins.
Three Cedars offers Barn Yard Play Land for kids. This area is free for young visitors. Some cider mills have dingy or broken down play equipment but Barn Yard Play Land has an impressive amount of things to do for kids. They have a John Deere trike track, modern play barn with fun slides, Peter Rabbit bunny village, animals galore, and much more. The play area is very clean, and all the attractions are well-kept. Most of the features about the animals even come with educational tutorials.
The fun doesn’t end at Three Cedars Farm when all the leaves are off the trees… The General Store and the rest of the farm transforms into Country Christmas from Thanksgiving through Christmas. You can get photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, visit Santaland, purchase Christmas trees, wreathes and more!
Three Cedars is among the best I’ve seen in providing family-friendly entertainment and, as you know… I’ve seen plenty! I found the overtly country-time theme very enjoyable. Even though the ambiance can come off as almost gaudy, I sincerely appreciate how hard Three Cedars Farm tries to make the cider mill enjoyable for all ages. They have the guest in mind when it comes to the cleanliness and conveniences, right down to the indoor restrooms. Oh yeah, the cider & donuts are delicious.
