Leslie Jacobs Associates and run once per month throughout 2016 (minus December). Each of the Rugby Grille Cooking with Style classes is based on a different cuisine theme. 

I just attended the January Rugby Grille Cooking with Style class which focused on “French Bistro” classics.

The Rugby Grille Cooking with Style classes are held right in the Rugby Grille kitchen by head chef Todd Sabo. The class is set up demo-style. Chef Todd introduced the class to the French Bistro classic dishes he was preparing, which included mussels, Cassoulet, and a creme brulee. He then showed various preparation steps for each. Because of how long each dish actually takes to prepare and cook, the class is more about explanation and providing some great kitchen tips that the top chefs use, rather than having participants in the kitchen trying to duplicate these complex plates.
 
All participants are given handouts that have step by step instructions for how to prepare the dishes from the class. Additionally, Chef Todd gives out his cell number to everyone and tells them all to feel free to give him a call if they’re preparing a dish and have questions. Chef Todd is incredibly passionate about what he does and he said he feels at peace when he cooks, and he cooks just the same at home. 
 
The first half hour of the Rugby Grille Cooking with Style class is the reception (6-6:30). Then the chefs perform the demo in the kitchen from about 6:30-8. After the demo is complete, participants relocate to an elegant dining room that is decorated in keeping with the class theme while they dine on the incredible dishes prepared by Chef Todd and team that they just learned about. The experience is top notch. Each course is served with a finely selected wine and guests spend the next 1.5 hours or so enjoying the great food.
