What’s Eating Your Child Book Review

What’s Eating Your Child Book Review – review of the book What’s Eating Your Child, a highly recommended book for child nutrition and heath.

The What’s Eating Your Child book, written by Kelly Dorfman, MS, LND, details many potential food scenarios that may explain some of the challenges faced by children. Dorfman’s 29-year career in clinical nutrition has led her to write the book which pairs scientifically supported advice with fascinating case studies. What’s Eating Your Child reveals the surprising role nutrition plays in healing children’s ailments.

Food allergies and sensitivities among children are on the rise. I have battled a great deal of trial and error and illness with my daughter eating certain foods. It’s been challenging, but I can vow that when we’ve determined the problematic foods and eliminated them, she is much better off. Otherwise, we’ve experienced a great deal of fussiness, vomiting, lethargy, and weight loss.

The What’s Eating Your Child book doesn’t solely focus on food allergies or common colds. Dorfman takes a scientific and practical approach covering health, cognitive behaviors and mood disorders associated with diet. She not only discusses problems associated with food reactions, she offers tangible solutions. The book is a fantastic resource I plan on referring to it often.
