Mwindo – Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit presents MWINDO, a central African folktale full of trials and tribulations, heroic beings, fantastical creaters and puppets developed by Detroit Puppet Company in collaboration with Mosaic’s young artists. Guests that arrive 45 minutes before showtime for a special make-and-take puppet workshop. This is a FREE event.

Open Friday Fowling at The Hawk – (fhgov.com) $5 to play. Cash bar beer and wine are served at The Hawk Bar. To register. You can also book your own lane for a fee.

Free Family Movie Night – Disney’s Coco movie, begins at 7:00pm.  Fresh Popcorn and water. Movie shown in the sanctuary.

Farmington Hills Halloween Faith & Blue Trunk or Treat – Enjoy Trunk or Treating, costume contests, crafts, balloon creations, photo booth, and more. Hosted by Faith & Blue and the Farmington Hills Police Department. This is a FREE event. Attendees are asked to donate a non-perishable item C.A.R.E.S of Farmington Hills.

Detroit Halloween Bash – Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will be music, a dog costume parade at 6p, pick up a free trick-or-treat bag for your pet, raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing and more. Santa’s Grand Arrival at Twelve Oaks – Enjoy special appearances by Mrs. Claus, performances by enchanted holiday characters, balloon twisters, face-painting and more. First 300 children will receive a FREE gift while supplies last. Hosted by shoptwelveoaks.com.

Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Lake Orion Dixieland Benefit Concert – The annual fundraising event will feature the North Oakland Dixieland Band performing traditional swing and jazz music.
