Cowboy & Cowgirl Festival – at Canterbury Village Saturday (9a-1p & 2p-6p) and Sunday (noon-4p)
This festival is a family celebration of cowboy, cowgirls, and the wild west. Stroll throughout the Village and enjoy live music, family activities, cowboy stunt shows, magician juggler performances, the medicine man show, mechanical bull rides, pony carousel, petting zoo, and much more. $10. $5 Parking. Santa’s Grand Arrival at Twelve Oaks – Enjoy special appearances by Mrs. Claus, performances by enchanted holiday characters, balloon twisters, face-painting and more. First 300 children will receive a FREE gift while supplies last. Hosted by shoptwelveoaks.com.
Detroit Santa Claus Pet Photos – Detroit K-9’s team of professional photographers will photograph your family & pets in a beautiful holiday scene. A $5 donation is suggested with 100% of the photo proceeds benefiting Dog Aide, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide assistance to dog owners in the City of Detroit that are experiencing a financial hardship. Lake Orion Dixieland Benefit Concert – The annual fundraising event will feature the North Oakland Dixieland Band performing traditional swing and jazz music. Novi Christmas Winter Wine & Whimsy – Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk. 5-9p Friday, 5-9p Saturday, & noon-9p Sunday. Thursdays is Ladies Night Out, Friday is the Novi Tree Lighting at 6:30p, and Saturday features Santa Claus & Kids Fun. Hosted by the City of Novi.
