RARA Trunk or Treat – at Rochester Avon Recreation Authority (RARA). Decorate your vehicle for a family friendly trunk or treat at RARA, rain or shine. Pass out candy (you supply) as trick or treaters travel around. Prizes for vehicles. Trunk or treating will be 7pm to 8pm. Cider and donuts will be provided towards the end for all attendees. RARA Milk & Cookies with Santa – Come to this special event and meet Santa! Take a picture with him as well as enjoy delicious milk and cookies. Take home holiday themed coloring pages and a holiday craft. Parents will receive a number at check in so that you can enjoy milk and cookies instead of waiting in line. Families will be emailed an exact time slot to meet Santa at. This is to try to avoid large crowds and long lines. Please remember, time slots are flexible. You may still need to wait a few minutes after your exact time. Only children attending need to be registered.  Visit www.rararecreation.org to register.

Valentine’s Day at Maybury Farm – Enjoy Valentine-themed activities, the animals, games, and more as the farm celebrates by opening for a special day in the winter. Celebrate with Bucky, Honey and all the animal friends at Maybury Farm. Admission is $7. For more info, visit www.mayburyfarm.org.

White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.

Troy Community Center Trivia Night – Gather your team for a Friday night of friendly trivia competition. Registration fee includes dinner (pizza, breadsticks, salad), refreshments, and two games of trivia play. Prizes awarded to winning teams. Troy Community Center Fairy & Gnome Gathering – A morning of magic and enchantment. Dress up like a fairy or gnome as you stroll through the enchanted gardens. Make a fairy/gnome garden of your own. Troy Community Center 70’s Night Dance – Dance the night away to music performed by Danny D. Danny will play a captivating tribute show to Rod Stewart’s greatest hits. Inspired by his Rock-n-Roll roots, Danny will make sure you have an enjoyable night of great tunes, and great entertainment. $10 Res / $15 Non. Pre-registration required. Online registration. Troy Historical Society Summer Kick-Off Open House – Enjoy music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, get your Troy Historical Society summer raffle tickets, plus food for purchase and info from a variety of Troy organizations about great summer activities. Maybury Farm StoryTime – Children will have fun while learning about a unique farm topic each week through stories, songs, and sensory play. Story time is included with the $7 admission to the farm. Children 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are available for $4 per person and start following story time. Again, children 2 and under are free and space is limited.
