Troy Sensory Santa Visits – Sensory Friendly Santa and Mrs Claus event. This event is completely FREE. Participants must register for a date and time at oxfordrecoverycenter.com.
Village of Wolverine Lake Snacks with Santa – at Richardson Center. Bring your camera for pics and photos of Santa Claus. Includes snacks and a craft. Pre-registration required. Hosted by the Village of Wolverine Lake. Call 248-624-1710 for more information.
Pontiac’s Annual Community Autism Event – This is a FREE event. Donations are accepted. The event will consist of over 15 different activity stations for the children to make, create and play however they’d like. The event will provide food and snacks, gift bags, raffles, bounce houses, face paintings, live performances etc. For more info, email joyallen22@gmail.com.
Oakland County Parks will mark the Juneteenth holiday by waiving vehicle entry fees on Monday, June 19. Oakland County Parks’ Mobile Recreation Unit will also be participating in local celebration and commemoration events honoring Juneteenth throughout Oakland County with fun, free activities such as inflatables, games, climbing towers and more.
Visitors can enjoy access to general park activities, including trails, dog parks, playgrounds, picnic areas, beaches and fishing spots from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset (unless otherwise posted).
Wolverine Lake Free Summer Fun for Kids – The Village of Wolverine Lake will host Tuesdays In The Park days at Clara Miller Park this summer.
Inflatables and fun activities for kids. Your children can climb, crawl and slide through the Mini Festival maze of fun and/or enjoy the parks play structures.
Hockey Mentors for Special Olympians – Hockey Mentors offers an afternoon of free hockey and ice skating for individuals with any type of special needs, whether that is cognitive, physical or emotional, their family and caregivers. The family friendly event, taking place in two of the Troy Sports Center rinks, includes skate rental, hockey equipment, lunch, t-shirt for those skating and a jersey for guests trying out hockey.
