Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Summer Events
Select Emagine Theatres will be hosting THE BIG GAME on THE BIG SCREEN for the most anticipated Football game of the year! Guests are welcome to watch it live for FREE on the big screen at select Emagine locations. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets can be picked up at the theatre’s box office on game-day. Representatives from Remy will be on-site at these locations offering tastings to enhance your experience.
Guests in attendance can take part in the Game-Day Smash Box Food Sampler for only $26.00. Sampler Boxes will be available beginning at 5:00pm and include: 4 Chicken Tenders, Cheese Curds (9oz), and Chicken Bacon Jalapeno Quesadillas
Doors Open at 5:00 P.M. Kickoff: 6:30 P.M.
Admission is FREE. No purchase necessary. Guests of all ages are welcome to watch at Emagine Theatres in Novi, Rochester Hills, Canton, Geneva Lakes and Frankfort

Farmington Hills Safety & Crime Prevention Fair – This is a FREE event for the community that is focused on providing preventative information to parents, adults, teens and even kids. Topics being discussed include: Scams/identity theft prevention, safe sleeping practices for infants, medication vs. candy, firearms safety, medication take-back, and other important topics that would benefit the public. There will be a dedicated kids area where kids can color cut-out police cars and badges. Food Trucks & Fun at the Village of Rochester Hills – The Village of Rochester Hills will host a variety of savory and sweet food trucks and showcase performances by local talent in Festival Park. BRAVO Italian Kitchen will also be hosting a Mobile Bar for guests who would like to purchase alcoholic beverages to enjoy in Festival Park during the performances. Each week will bring something new to experience. There will also be lawn games and sidewalk chalk each week. This is a FREE event. Hosted by TheVofRH.
New Center Park Detroit FREE Summer Movies – at New Center Park in Midtown Detroit FREE outdoor movie nights hosted by newcenterpark.com. Visitors can grab a chair or bring a blanket, enjoy some free popcorn and settle in for a film in the open-air theater
Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Troy Community Center 70’s Night Dance – Dance the night away to music performed by Danny D. Danny will play a captivating tribute show to Rod Stewart’s greatest hits. Inspired by his Rock-n-Roll roots, Danny will make sure you have an enjoyable night of great tunes, and great entertainment. $10 Res / $15 Non. Pre-registration required. Online registration. Troy Historical Society Summer Kick-Off Open House – Enjoy music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, get your Troy Historical Society summer raffle tickets, plus food for purchase and info from a variety of Troy organizations about great summer activities.
