Puppy Yoga Class – Yoga6 is partnering with Leader Dogs for the Blind and hosting a Flow For A Cause Puppy Yoga Class outdoors. This $30 suggested, donation-based class will support the training of dogs and programs to assist blind and visually impaired individuals. Guests will enjoy a 60-minute class with puppy playtime to follow. Guests are encouraged to register in advance by calling 248-453-5255. Hosted by Leader Dogs for the Blind & Hosted by TheVofRH.
Cub Scouts Kids Activity Booth – Families can drop-in to try the kinds of activities that Cub Scouts do, all while attending the Farmers Market. There will be a Hot Wheels “Derby” Track, a campsite to explore, Scout Law Putt-Putt, and “Community Helpers Thank You” coloring area. Every youth who visits will receive a prize. Canterbury Village Michigan Dog Fest – Bring your furry friend and head to Canterbury Village for a tail waggin’ good time. Kids can have fun looking for paw prints around the village, which they can turn in for candy and other small prizes. Dog Day at the Oak Park Pool (248-691-7555) – Each registered dog receives a gift and a 55 minute dog-only swim session. Different 55 minute blocks of time per weight of dog. The owners must provide proof of current vaccinations and a dog license before the dog is allowed entry. All dogs must be at least four months old. Dogs displaying aggressive behavior will be asked to leave without refund.
