Cranbrook Tutankhamun Exhibit – Cranbrook Tutankhamun “Wonderful Things” King Tut Exhibit review, hours, and info for the exhibit which runs through September 3, 2017. The exhibit includes exact replicas from the Pharaoh’s Tomb and legendary treasures. The collection of Tutankhamun replicas of the richest archaeological find of all time took 10 years to recreate.

The Tutankhamun exhibit at the Cranbrook Institute of Science is so elegantly and beautifully put together. There is a tremendous amount of respect built into this exhibit. Each replica is an exact re-creation of the original, down to every scratch.

Visitors can stroll through the Cranbrook Tutankhamun exhibit and view King Tut’s ancient tomb and 131 replicas of the pharaoh’s sacred possessions and historic artifacts, including his magnificent state chariot, the iconic golden mummy case, spectacular funerary mask, and the bejeweled royal mummy.

Each display at the Cranbrook Tutankhamun exhibit includes an in-depth write up that gives the full history behind the piece. Guests could spend hours at the Cranbrook Tutankhamun exhibit, learning about Tutankhamun and the story behind all the artifacts.

Finally, just as with every exhibit, the Cranbrook Institute of Science maintains the theme of the traveling exhibit with the tables and gift shop.

The Cranbrook Institute of Science museum itself is hands on and interactive and covers up-to-date scientific studies about the earth and universe. You will also find a The Story About Us exhibit, rocks and crystals, a planetarium, a mineral gallery, and more!
