DR.BEI Cordless Water Flosser Review

I was happy to test out the DR.BEI Cordless Water Flosser. To be honest, I am a complete fanatic when it comes to my dental care. I brush at least 2 times per day, floss at least once, and also use a water flosser (an older Waterpick Waterflosser). I never miss a step.

The DR.BEI Portable Cordless Water Flosser claims to remove 99% of food debris with a high-pressure water pulse of 1600 pulses/minute. The unit has three modes – Pulse (massages gums), Short (gentle pressure to clean sensitive teeth) and Normal (cleans deeply between teeth), from gentle to strong for varying sensitivity. I suggest if you’re new at using a water flosser, you should start with a gentle setting until your gums get used to it and are ready for a more vigorous setting.

The DR.BEI Cordless Water Flosser comes with a 6oz water reservoir that provides up to 40 sec of water flossing. You can charge the flosser with the USB connection and each charge provides 30 days of battery life.

Here’s my comparison of the DR.BEI Portable Cordless Water Flosser to my current, older Waterpick Waterflosser…

The flosser definitely holds its charge for far longer than my current water flosser. Yes, it’s not as convenient to charge. My current unit just plugs into the outlet and the DR.BEI Portable Cordless Water Flosser uses a USB interface. But, the long lasting charge makes it worth it. Plus, there’s a battery indicator light to let you know when the charge is getting low. My current model doesn’t have this and I can literally be in the middle of a cleaning, lose power, and get less of a cleaning.

One other feature that I like on the DR.BEI Cordless Water Flosser is that you can take the unit apart after use and dry out the water reservoir. With my current model, you can only pour out the water and not all of it comes out. It’s always bothered me that water is sitting in there.

I also appreciate how the DR.BEI unit has a compact collapsible design. I can easily bring this with me anywhere. Heck, if you’re even more of a fanatic than me, this would fit in your purse so you can take it with you when dining out. And, it will easily fit in your luggage when traveling.

The DR.BEI flosser overall does a great job removing food particles. The pressure is effective at doing the job. I still like to floss to remove plaque since that is not cleaned by the flosser.
