Dr. Seuss The Lorax Movie Review

Dr. Seuss The Lorax Movie Review – review of The Lorax, the movie adaptation of the Dr Suess book by the same name. After seeing the previews for The Lorax while at the movies a while back, my kids excitedly looked forward to its release. We had the opportunity to see a pre-screening of The Lorax, which comes out in theaters March 2.

The Lorax is a Dr. Seuss work of art and the movie upholds this. Colorful and beautifully animated, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax is done by the same makers of Despicable Me.

We saw Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax in 3D. The 3D effects were great because their focus was for the film to be dimensional, but not too much of a focus on having things continuously jump out at us through the screen like a Jaws flick. It was like we were in this colorful world ourselves.

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax has an impressive cast. Zac Efron as the young boy Ted, Betty White as the grandmother, Taylor Swift as Ted’s love interest, and Danny DeVito as the Lorax.

Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax is entertaining for kids and adults alike. I think everyone is a Dr. Seuss fan. And, this film has many adorable and entertaining moments done with a familiar Dr. Seuss flair that everyone can appreciate.

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax delivers a Go Green message in a relatable fashion without an “in your face” approach. The basis of the movie’s theme is the effort of a young boy to plant a tree in a city that has fallen under the powers of an industrial business man who has done away with trees in their city. The young boy’s initial intention was to woo his love interest by giving her the tree of her dreams. And, in the end, he learns the story of the Lorax and makes it his priority to bring back the trees. I hope this Dr. Suess The Lorax Movie Review is helpful.
