Oxford Township Parks and Recreation offers one of the best summer day camp programs in Oakland County and Metro Detroit for kids at Seymour Lake Township Park in Oxford, Michigan. Registration for 2025 summer camps opens April 15, 2025. You can register HERE.
All Oxford Twp Parks & Rec Summer Camps take place at Seymour Lake Township Park. The 125 acre park features a splashpad, giant playground, disc golf course, sled hill, full-size basketball court, 4 tennis courts, ball fields, and more… Seymour Lake Park is maintained by the Oxford Twp Parks and Recreation Department.
Oxford Township Parks & Recreation summer day camps are licensed by the State of Michigan. Their quality summer camp programs are designed for boys and girls who have completed Kindergarten through entering 6th grade. Each week offers a different program so you can choose from many fun camps filled with summer celebration, games, sports, science, and more. There is something for everyone. The Oxford Township Parks & Recreation summer camps are sure to provide your child with great experiences all summer long that make for cherished memories and lasting friendships.
The Oxford Twp Parks & Rec Summer Camps programs consist of 10 weeks of camp that run from 8:30a-5:30p starting Monday, June 9, 2025 all the way through August 15, 2025. Camps are closed on 7/4 for the holiday. There are three-day camps and five-day camps available, with discounted rates for Oxford residents. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, sack lunch, snack, sunscreen, swimsuit and towel each day.

SUMMER KICK OFF
Oxford Township Parks & Recreation kicks off the summer vacation season with favorite summertime activities and treats, water games, s’mores and more.
GAMES GALORE
Spend the week learning and playing all kinds of games – TV game shows, board games, designing a scavenger hunt and more.
TAP INTO CREATIVITY
This is for everyone, not just the little artists. This camp allows you to explore your creativity through crafts, recycling old to new and more.
SUMMER CELEBRATION
Taking the summer to celebrate a few favorite holidays as well as some silly ones that keep it fun… Christmas in July, Halloween, International Bubble Blowing Day and Left Hander’s Day.
WACKA-DO SPORTS
Each day will be spent learning and playing traditional and not so traditional games in a fun setting with no athletic skills required.
MAD SCIENTISTS
Have fun making a mess outdoors with crazy experiments and wacky potions…all the things mom won’t let you do in the house.
SUMMER SEND OFF
A great way to wrap it up…a camp that includes a week of the favorites from the summer to bid farewell to another great summer camp season with a big hurrah.
OTPR CIT PROGRAM
A Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for volunteers entering 9th– 12th grades who are interested in learning the employment side of camp.
