These camps, academies, and workshops are a great introduction to academics and athletics at Detroit CC whether you are a present student, future student, prospective student, or just want to take part in Shamrock excellence and coaching. Non athletic camps are also part of the summer camp curriculum for 2025.

Baseball Camp – 2-Day Camp – Join Head Varsity Coach Ryan Rogowski and members of the CC Baseball Staff and team for the annual CC Baseball Camp
Basketball Camp – 4-Day Camp – Join CC Head Varsity Coach Tory Jackson and members of the CC Basketball Staff and team for the annual CC Basketball Camp
eSports Camp – 3-Day Camp – Features Rocket League, Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Overwatch 2, and Valorant
Football Camp – 3-Day Camp – Join Varsity Head Coach Justin Cessante and members of the CC Football Staff and team for our annual CC Football Camp
Lacrosse Camp – 3-Day Camp – Join Varsity Head Coach Dave Wilson and members of the CC Lacrosse staff and team for the annual CC Lacrosse Camp
Rugby Camp – 2-Day Camp – This camp is run by our Head Varsity Rugby Coach Ian Ronayne and his staff and some of the team members. CC has signed multiple college Rugby players over the last several seasons. It is CC and many Colleges fastest growing sports.
Speed Camp – 3-Day Camp – Join CC Track and Sprint Coach Tiberia Patterson for an individual training experience. No Track experience is required and this camp is open to all athletes.
Sports Performance – Intro to Weightlifting Camp – Join Catholic Central’s ETHOS Training Staff. Camp is designed to teach young athletes proper form and technique in a wide variety of lifts
Sports Performance – Speed & Agility Camp – Co-Ed – Join Catholic Central’s ETHOS Training Staff. Classes are designed to focus on running mechanics, linear speed, lateral quickness, acceleration and deceleration cuts that apply to every sport
Soccer Camp – 4-Day Camp – Co-Ed – Join Varsity Head Coach Gene Pulice, CC Staff, and members of the Soccer Team for the annual CC Soccer Camp
Tennis Camp – 3-Day Camp – Co-Ed – Join Head Varsity Coach Robbie Risdon and members of the CC Tennis staff and team for the annual co-ed CC Tennis camp
Track & Field Events – 3-Day Camp – Co-Ed – Field Event Camp (High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, & Discus)
Volleyball – 3-Day Camp – Work with CC players and coaches to learn and develop your skills in Volleyball. No experience is needed….just the right mind set to have fun and learn the great game of Volleyball
Wrestling – 4-Day Camp – Join Head Varsity Coach Mitch Hancock and members of the CC Wrestling staff and team for the annual CC Wrestling camp

Astronomy Camp – 4-Day Camp – Build a functional telescope that you can take home. Learn about the Solar System, Exoplents, and new things in space
Model United Nations Camp – 3-Day Camp – Co-Ed – Play the part of an actual United Nations delegate for a country trying to solve global issues like the Untied Nations. These sessions are run by members of the Detroit CC Model United Nations Team
Quiz Bowl Camp – 2-Day Camp – Co-Ed – Quiz bowl is a competition in which two teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge, including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, popular culture, sports, and more.
Robotics Camp – 4-Day Camp – Build your own training robot and then program the robot and explore different things the robot can do. Students will be able to bring the robot home after the camp and continue to explore.
