Ice Dinosaurs Sloan Museum Exhibit review, pics, and info for the NEW exhibition at the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint. ICE DINOSAURS: The Lost World of the Alaskan Arctic, fun, educational, and highly interactive 5000 square foot plus display begins Tuesday, January 20, 2026 and runs through May 3, 2026.

Ice Dinosaurs Sloan Museum Exhibit

Ice Dinosaurs uses immersive scenery, interactive elements, and educational concepts to unveil the unprecedented scientific evidence that warm-blooded, non-migratory dinosaurs thrived above the Arctic Circle.

“The hands-on exhibit invites visitors to learn about the unique adaptations of polar dinosaurs who lived in cold, dark and snowy conditions year-round. The exhibition presents a unique look at paleontology, climate science, and the survival of ancient species in one of the harshest environments on Earth. Through stunning life-size reconstructions, animatronics, fossils, and multimedia exhibits, ICE DINOSAURS invites visitors to experience these magnificent creatures and learn about the mysteries of the Alaskan Arctic during the age of dinosaurs. The exhibition also provides a rare glimpse into how paleontologists uncover clues about these long-extinct species and what they tell us about Earth’s ancient past.”
