Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review

Bavarian Blast Waterpark review, pics, and info of Frankenmuth’s newest Waterpark – Bavrian Blast Indoor Waterpark, Michigan’s LARGEST Indoor Waterpark and Family Fun Center.

Bavarian Blast boasts 16 waterslides, a state-of-the art Wave Pool, Lazy River, and more. It’s not just for kids, adults can enjoy Michigan’s first swim-up bar.

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review

We had a chance to check out the Waterpark after it opened, here’s our Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review…

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review – Michigan’s Biggest Indoor Waterpark

Yes, the waterpark is HUGE, it’s also very well-planned. The waterpark is wide-open (not a lot of blindspots) and it’s very easy to keep an eye on everyone in your party. A lot of the daytime lighting is provided by the sun courtesy of nearly park-wide glass walls and glass roof. Even in Winter, it seems like summer. It doesn’t hurt that the water temp is “always 80 degrees”.

Bavarian Blast Frankenmuth Waterpark Review – Waterslides Galore

There are waterslides of every size…. and for every age. Tube slides, body slides, tiny tikes slides, and water slides for up to 6 riders.

5 of the slides are for small children and can be located near the Cuckoo’s Chaos giant kids tower.

If you want the big slides, just follower the blue-rail stairs to the 2nd and 3rd stories of the park – there you’ll find numerous waterslides for the older set. Tube slides that take you in and out of the waterpark (literally), a 6-person giant raft slide, side-by-side dragracing slides, and more. Older kids will want to pick their favorites, and there are plenty of “bigger” slides to choose from – EIGHT!

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review – A Not So Lazy River

The Bavarian Blast Waterpark indoor lazy river AKA Greta’s River Run is relaxing like most lazy rivers… but the water flow is heavy enough to make it actually like an additional water ride. It’s fun.

Bavarian Blast Frankenmuth Waterpark Review – 4 Indoor Pools

There are 4 indoor pools at Bavarian Blast

Fest Platz is only 3.5 feet deep and features sports – a step bridge to cross, and ropes to climb on in the water in addition to basketball goals (and a lot of kids splashing in it).

The Willy’s Waves Wave Pool is a large wave pool that can really pump out some high-surf. The zero-depth entry area features plenty of seating and cabanas.

At the end of one of the pools is the awesome swim-up bar for adults – Bootlegger Bar! The bar serves wine, beer, and PLENTY of signature cocktails. It has a nice lounge feel and comes complete with TVs and swanky seating and tables in the pool itself.

Don’t forget to relax in the hot tubs at Bavarian Springs.

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review – For Little Squirts

No waterpark would be complete without a tower with a giant splash bucket for smaller children & Bavarian Blast is no different. Cuckoo’s Chaos features a huge tower to climb on (complete with the splash bucket). The waterpark did a great designing the Cuckoo’s Chaos – zero depth pool, smaller slides, and plenty of safe fun the pre-school set.

We at Oakland County Moms have reviewed every indoor waterpark within 400 miles of Oakland County, trust this Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review – this one is the biggest, this one is the best.

Bavarian Blast Frankenmuth Waterpark Review – Day Passes

1-day passes are available at Bavarian Blast Waterpark for varying prices. Lower Mondays through Thursdays, slightly higher than that on Fridays, and then higher still on Saturdays and Sundays. Prices can fluctuate depending on availability. Prices go up during holiday break seasons during the school year. Prices are at the lowest on non-holiday weekdays during the school year.

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Review – Entertainment Galore

Bavarian Blast is also a family fun entertainment mecca in addition to the waterpark thrills and chills. Check out…

MINI GOLF
ROPES COURSE – It’s like an indoor version of a TreeRunner Adventure Park. 3-stories high and full of platforms, obstacles, beams, bridges, and more.

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Frankenmuth – The Bavarian Inn Hotel

Bavarian Blast is perfect for a one-tank day trip to the waterpark but, of course, the waterpark is a travel destination (like most indoor waterparks). The Bavarian Inn offers fantastic packages which include waterpark passes and more. The hotel does a fantastic job catering to not only families, but couples. They are running specials all the time. Check out there deals here.

Bavarian Blast Waterpark Frankenmuth – Dining

On-site at the waterpark, you can get delicious snacks at Chef Filly’s Cafe or get frozen treats at Fritz’s Frozen Fun. Don’t forget about driks at Spritz & Sips.

You can’t go to Frankenmuth and not get the fried chicken, and there’s no shortage of chicken and other great meal options at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. You can get your meals to go or dine-in. They are known for their incredible Easter and Mother’s Day brunches. The restaurant is open from 11a-8p Sundays through Thursdays and 11a-9p Fridays & Saturdays. There is a HEAVY German influence on the menu at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant but if that’s not your cup of tea, there are steak and fish options – and… of course… fried chicken galore!
