Novi Cooperative Preschool Open House – Come meet the teachers, play in the classroom. Novi Coop offers a kindergarten readiness program for children ages 2-5. Novi Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit, nondenominational preschool owned and managed by parents.
Lake Orion / Orion Township / Oxford Preschool Open House – Orion Township Public Library (248-693-3000)
Meet Lake Orion and Oxford area providers, ask questions, and gather information at this special open house. Receive a checklist with tips on what to look for in preschool or childcare, along with information on the programs that each facility has scheduled throughout the year.
Indian Springs Metropark Maple Sugaring: Sweet Science – 3 sessions per day – 11a/12p/1p. 248-625-6640, metroparks.com. Travel out to the woods to see the tapping of maple trees, sap collection, and visit the evaporator to learn about the boiling of maple sap. This program is entirely outdoors and runs every hour. You can expect to walk about one-mile on gravel nature trails. Social distancing and face coverings are required. Dress for the weather. $3 per child, $5 per adult, children under two free. All Ages. Pre-registration required 3 days before each program online. A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required for these events. Daily & Annual vehicle permits are on sale NOW. White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.
Select Emagine Theatres will be hosting THE BIG GAME on THE BIG SCREEN for the most anticipated Football game of the year! Guests are welcome to watch it live for FREE on the big screen at select Emagine locations. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and tickets can be picked up at the theatre’s box office on game-day. Representatives from Remy will be on-site at these locations offering tastings to enhance your experience.

Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280.
