Come explore the Outdoor Natural Play Area and celebrate our Earth with many activities including: Craft, live animals, free tree seedlings (while supplies last), guided nature hike, vendors, and more. This is a FREE event or $5/person if you partake in the Guided Hike. Proceeds benefit the Nature Room. Hikers will receive a pin. White Lake Earth Day Events – Earth Day Camp

Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

Brownstown Earth Day Events – Earth Day Shore Cleanup at Lake Erie

Clean along the picnic areas and shoreline of the park. You or your group will be assigned an area to help clean. Lunch consisting of hot dogs, chips and a drink will be served. Individuals, families and groups welcome. You will receive free park entry as a volunteer. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All ages. FREE event.
