Northville Community Center Tiny Pumpkins – from 4p-5p OR 5p-6p (2 Sessions to Choose From). No-scare Halloween fun for kids ages 0-5. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, dancing, coloring, Halloween stations and a costume contest for the Tiny Pumpkins. Parents and Grandparents are welcome at no charge. Northville Halloween Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt (2 sessions to choose from) at Thayer’s Corner.
Trick or treating scavenger hunt. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, cider & donuts, pick a pumpkin, story time and other entertainment. Advance ticket sales are sold by specific event time. Please arrive at the event entrance a few minutes before your scheduled time to check in. No on-site registration will be available. Hosted by Northville Parks and Rec. Valentine’s Day at Maybury Farm – Enjoy Valentine-themed activities, the animals, games, and more as the farm celebrates by opening for a special day in the winter. Celebrate with Bucky, Honey and all the animal friends at Maybury Farm. Admission is $7. For more info, visit www.mayburyfarm.org.
Loving Earth, Loving All – Earth Day Celebration – The event will offer free native flower seedlings, local seeds, information on invasive species, what to plant, pollinators, a tour of the ‘deer resistant’ garden, activities for youth, and more. To learn more about the event email office@

Indian Springs Metropark Earth Day Camp – Day camp for kids will cover the basics of reduce, reuse, recycle. Campers will learn to be more conscious visitors in the parks and in nature. Enjoy lots of fun projects and crafts. Please bring a lunch and wear clothes that can get messy. Ages 7+. $40 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 248-625-7280. Troy Stage Nature Center Earth Day Celebration – 86 Plastic will give a short program to highlight that less than 5% of what we send to recycling is truly repurposed. She will be presenting ways to replace common household (plastic) items for a more sustainable swap. Learn how to reduce waste, reuse what you have, and even save money. Maybury Farm StoryTime – Children will have fun while learning about a unique farm topic each week through stories, songs, and sensory play. Story time is included with the $7 admission to the farm. Children 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are available for $4 per person and start following story time. Again, children 2 and under are free and space is limited.
