South Lyon Labor Day Bridge Walk – held by the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority in conjunction with other Walks around the state modeled after the LD Mackinac Bridge Walk.
This all-ages event will run along the Huron Valley Rail Trail and through downtown South Lyon MI. It’s is a 2.5 mile walk.

Birmingham Community Halloween Fun in the Patch – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in kid-friendly costumes and enjoy Halloween on the front lawn amongst the Pumpkin Patch. 1p-7p – Pumpkin Patch, 4p-5p – Children’s Parade with Trick or Treating, 4:15p-5:30p – Storybook time & Halloweenie Roast. Come early and enjoy wonderful music at their Heralds of Christmas concert, featuring their children’s choirs from 3-4 PM in the main sanctuary.
